Play in the Rain I stamp set includes 4, 1-inch stamps: Randy the Raincoat, Rufus Rainboots, Remy Raincap, and Reesie the Raincloud. Stamps are deep-etched red rubber stamps that I had custom made from my original drawings. The stamps are mounted on cling-foam, which means they cling to acrylic mounting blocks. Acrylic mounting blocks are available at all craft stores or I have few for purchase here on my Etsy page. They are wonderful because they allow you to see through to the stamp below for more accurate placement. (You can also use the lid to your ink pad). I have hand-cut each of these rubber stamps myself using rubber-trimming scissors. I tried to trim the designs close to avoid traces of ink around the stamp. This also helps with more accurate placement when stamping. You can place several stamps on one acrylic to stamp multiple stamps at once, or stamp a single stamp at a time. You can stamp on fabric, paper, wood or even glass and ceramic (depending on ink used). Each stamp set comes mounted in a repurposed, floppy-disk jewel case. These cases make wonderful storage as they can be stacked, or shelved and keep your stamps organized and easy to access.
