My husband got me a new Ipod Nano (3rd Gen) for my birthday and I am absolutely addicted to it. I have several movies and TV shows loaded, a bunch of songs, photos.... It is an absolute must have. Because the newer 'fat' nano's have been released the older versions of this tiny music player can now be had for bargain prices. Sure the newer nano's have a larger screen, but it is still too tiny to watch a movie or tv show fro... The surface of the older nano's do scratch easily but it's a small price to pay since these are going for so cheap now.

Sure, the battery life can be some what short lived when used to watch video (mainly because you can turn of the back light) and the picture can be a bit small compared to an iPhone or some other video play devices on the market, but the iPod has a cool factor that way out ranks and draw backs. This 30 GB model currently sells on the market for about $249.00 plus tax. A bit pricy? Yes, but worth every penny. Soon you'll be wondering how you ever lived without it.

I'm always looking for the perfect iPod case for my 5G iPod. I usually lean towards leather cases (Vaja, a.b. sutton, aneta genova, et cetera), but I've also been known to purchase silicone cases. This is my first hard case, and I... I'm always looking for the perfect iPod case for my 5G iPod. I usually lean towards leather cases (Vaja, a.b. sutton, aneta genova, et cetera), but I've also been known to purchase silicone cases. This is my first hard case, and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm not saying it's perfect, but it's pretty darn cool and it protects the iPod well. The package contains three pieces- one front piece and two back pieces (one for 30GB iPods and one for 60/80GB iPods). The front of the case is very cool and chromelike with only a cutout for the wheel. At first it seems like you can't see the screen at all, but when the iPod's backlight comes on, the screen glows through the chrome. The back of the case is rubberized so it's got a nice, grippy feel. The front and back snap together easily, but don't come apart easily. There are cutouts on the top for the hold button and headphone jack, and a good portion of the bottom of the case is open so you can easily access the dock connector and use FM transmittors such as the iTrip. This is still kinda hard to find online, but some of the Apple stores started getting it in. Retails for $24.99 at Griffin and $29.99 at Apple. Also comes in a version for the newer Nano.
