Awake Hydro Force Treatment - Oil-Free

Awake Hydro Force Treatment - Oil-Free

This is perfect for my oily/combination skin when I need effective hydration that keeps the greasies at bay! It's formulated with everything you need to keep oilier or combination skins well hydrated. This glided on my skin nicely in the morning, didn't look greasy, and continued to hydrate for most of the day. This is a great product for the spring and summer when my skin is oilier, but also when I need something a little heavier in the winter...especially when the air is cold and the surface gets dehydrated. Many moisturizers either clog my pores, cause itchiness or give me bumps. Hydro-Force Oil Free Treatment is a light moisturizer, but it moisturizes well. I have not had any problems with it breaking me out, and the little dry patches I usually have on my lower cheeks have disappeared. If what you're after is just pure hydration with no annoyances like fragrance, alcohol or dye, then this is for you. Note: I would love to see this formula with added sunscreen for the summer!

This product is "24 carat gold" in every sense of the word. Through a happy "beauty run in" with a lovely sales associate while at New York department store Takashimaya, I enjoyed a mini treatment with this Gold Revitalizer exfoliating mask. After loving the results on a small portion of my hand, I was eager to try in on my face and for an extended time. I could not get over the fact that it contains actual 24 carat gold flakes thoughout the entire formula. The reasoning behind using the gold, according to Cosme Proud, is that natural gold contains ions help to reach, exfoliate, and moisturize even the skin's deepest layer. All I knew at first was that not only did the jar and mask itself look elegant and extravagant, but when I used the small spatula (included with the jar) to scoop out the gel mask, it was silky and laced with tons of 24 gold flakes which were surprisingly soft on my skin. As per the instructions, I applied on it slightly damp skin and smoothed the gel over my entire face, concentrating a bit more on my nose area which tends to get blackheads. I left the mask on for about 10 minutes until it dried. When it did dry, it was not to a very hard, cracked consistency, but rather a firm but still pliant one. The gold flecks remained on my face throughout the entire period. Next, as per the instructions, I began the process of massaging my face so that the gold flecks then began to exfoliate the skin, and then the dead skin, etc rolled off. What I was left with my skin that we so soft it was incredible. The was not a single rough surface on my skin - even my nose and chin, which are usually the most difficult areas for me to keep the pores from clogging. My skin was glowing, hydrated and soft without feeling irritated or dry at all. I enjoyed using this mask about 2-3 times a week and absolutely loved the results. This is without a doubt one of the best skincare products that I've come across this year and is now one of my top mask products. This is a bit of a splurge, but one that you won't regret. This revitalizer will work for all skin types, with the exception of very sensitive or acne prone.

I used this about 3x week before the body wash. After working all my critical spots (elbows, knees, feet, décolletage), and then rinsing, it left my skin smooth and super soft. The grains in the scrub are cushioned in a soft, fresh smelling gel/cream emulsion, which was very effective at exfoliating but not harsh on my skin at all. The tube itself is a fairly large size, and I used for several weeks and did not even get half way though it. The fragrance mimics that of the body wash, again a green tea infusion. Its lovely pale mint green packaging looks nice in the shower as well for all you packaging junkies out there too!

This was the perfect little mask to sooth my tired eyes at the end of the long day and after my frequent flights to both the west coast and Europe (6+ hours). I really like the packaging in which each pair is individually wrapped (perfect for travel). The scent is the signature soft Shiseido scent which was relaxing, and the eye masks themselves felt cool on my skin. With the design and shape of the masks, they stayed in place under my eye area whether I was lying down, sitting or walking around my place. After about 15 minutes my under eye area was brighter, my lines were softened and the skin surrounding the eye was super soft and supple. I also used some of the residual retinol serum from the mask on my eye area and face in the evening or the next day (I sealed it well and put it in a mini zip lock). I found after using them a few times a week for several weeks, my eye area was indeed brighter and I had an overall much fresher look (especially when I applied in the AM after a late night!). These are a luxury, but it’s such an effective treatment it is worth it. These masks will not necessarily make dark circles disappear however. This is more of a moisturizing, soothing and overall toning product.

I found this to be a great, non-greasy eye makeup remover. It completely erased all types of mascara and eye liner that I wore (regular, long wearing and waterproof) as well as foundation and lip products. The bottle looked small; however it lasted forever because I only needed just a tiny amount on a q-tip to remove my makeup. I used it every day (sometime 2x day if I reapplied makeup after the gym) and after a month I still had a 90% full bottle. It’s a very mild formula that was soothing on my eyelids, and didn’t irritate my eyes (I wear contact lenses). This is by far one of the BEST eye makeup removers I have used. It’s worth every penny and I won’t be without it now!

As many know, sensai in Japanese means teacher, instructor. How apt because I've just been taught that Sensai Cellular Performance collection is one of the most efficacious and luxurious lines to be found. What taught me this? My first experience with the Eye Contour Cream. The milk-white cream is ultra soft, delicate and feels like a wash of the finest silk on skin. It is the first I've seen that treats the entire eye, patted underneath it banishes circles and puffiness. Applied to the eyelid it softens lines or wrinkles. It's amazing what that dual treatment does to freshen, brighten and give a more youthful aspect to the eye. Absorbing quickly, it creates a smooth palette for makeup while at night it softens, relaxes skin for a restful sleep. Can't wait to discover what Sensai will teach me next! - Gail Cooke

These are small curved gauze-type strips soaked in a soy based concentrate that I laid on my under eye area for about 10-20 minutes. I found after several weeks (using them 2x week) of use that my under eye area really was more hydrated and it also helped with the dark circles. Upon the first use my under eye area was definitely plumper, but after using the masks for a month, I did noticed a significant reduction in fine lines and dark circles. The packaging is also innovative. There are 10 masks which you place on the under eye region. Please note: Once you open the disc that holds the eye patches and add the liquid you have to use the patches within 10 weeks, once you open the product you must use it otherwise they dry out. The eye masks are not individually wrapped so you need to use one at least once a week (but believe me it’s not a hardship!). It really added moisture to my eye area and made that area brighter and fresher. This is a nice addition to my overall skin care routine when I just want to really treat myself with a beauty indulgence!

Sekkisei was one I was not previously familiar with, but I’m really pleased with my first outing. Although it’s labeled a “lotion”, its consistency is that of a slightly thick water, which I applied with a cotton pad. After using this lotion each day after cleansing in the AM and PM for over three weeks, I could see my skin getting brighter and clearer each day. I had an amazing glow that has made me never want to give this product up. It made my skin feel smoother, so soft and clean/refreshed. A truly lovely luxury for the skin!

I used this mask from Japanese brand Sekkisei at least once a week, and was very happy with the results. This is a “peel off” mask which did an excellent job at clearing out blackheads in the t-zone area once it dried. I got the best results using this after a shower or steaming my face, so that my pores were open. The mask griped firmly onto my skin, (so this may not be a good choice for those of you with sensitive skin). Also very unique to this mask is the color – it goes on black. This product delivered visible results. It cleaned my skin very well, and my face is certainly more clear and softer after using this mask on a regular basis.
