Never had it before my detox and now I can't imagine living without it (though I am LOVE oatmeal and nuts). Basically what you want is a combo of grain (I grind my oatmeal up for the mix), nuts and seeds (almonds, brazil nuts, filberts), raisins, dried fruit (fig, apricot, peaches - unsulfured) and sunflower seeds. Add some Vanilla Soy Milk (Silk) and let sit while you do your hair or makeup. Yes, it is not a cheap breakfast, but boy does it start you out right. And though this comes in a plastic bag, it must to keep fresh. It's still less than other commercial cereals and you'll use less if you make it yourself from the healthfood store bulk bins!

That hump in the handle........melts right into your palm. And the medium brush is more like soft, which my dentist recommended. Overall: Happy "Replaceable head toothbrush with renewable resource handle. Wood Fiber blended with PLA, a plastic derived entirely from Nebraska maize. The resulting material is 100% renewal resource." It is kind of silly that we must throw away an entire toothbrush. I'm not sure how much impact this would have, but it states something about how one prefers to live.

Well, while in Puerto Rico, we went on a night kayak trip to the biobay. The guides urged us to use this eucalyptus spray, saying it is strong (*whew! Indeed) and effective. DEET adversely affects the little glowing organisms (in addition, to us, as it is a probable carcinogen). It's not easy to find though! Just shop around your city and you will eventually find it. Family safe and made from renewable resource (lemon eucalyptus). Would also be safe for pets, as dogs can get heartworm from mosquitoes.

You get lots of stuff for $50 bucks an acre (including a subscription to the Nature Conservancy). If aren't already aware, the world's coral reefs are in danger of becoming a thing of the past (exaggeration? --no). Rising temps cause coral bleaching, and since reefs are an important ecosystem, all the other animals that depend on it will die also. Input "coral bleaching" into the search engine and take a look. Again, great idea for gifts or kids and adults.
