First, some background. I have very curly hair--like, Cree Summer curly, but very dry. I wanted it straight but still with a bit of wave in it. I was happy that this kit included a very deep conditioning product, and that it also had a lot of natural plant extracts in it to keep hair healthy. For the de-frizz factor alone I recommend this product. After using the product, As I said, my hair was in excellent condition, so after about two days I could no longer tell it had been processed. Currently, may hair feels wonderful and it looks very nice, and yes I actually did notice more shine after using the product. I relaxed my hair about three weeks ago. Over all, I am very pleased with the product.

Unlike many of it's predecessors, this company has a very specific and small product range, covering the basic requirements -- cleansing, moisturising, maintenance and refreshing. Originally, I believe, the products were aimed at the African hair market but it is recommended for anyone with hair, especially curly hair. I love their Pomade and Curling Custard, which makes the hair feel like a million dollars and shine like a million diamonds. Definitely a must-try.

I have been using and continue to love WEN products (their shampoo is also a no-suds). This is just as heavenly! I have most recently flat ironed my wavy/curly hair, but I've been trying to wear it more natural. This really makes my waves into nice non-frizzy curls. My biggest problem has been frizz and this shampoo makes a huge difference. You need to run, not walk and pick up this today!
