LEGOS! but COASTERS! you can build a fort to protect your drink, have armed pirates hang out around it, build a giant coaster, or use it to play with your normal legos i guess.

Wow! Lego sets of great buildings. About a hundred bucks and very complex, just the thing for the design/architecture geek in your life.

How fun is this? A science nerd at heart, I would love to have this to build. This is a great gift for kids, too, who love to build things. It is a challenge to build, however. It is a challenge to build, however. It doesn't come with step by step instructions, just how the girders connect, how to build the tanks, and some pictures of the completed product. Once you've figured it out (it gets built from the bottom up), add some water and some food coloring for added effect and impress yourself and your friends. I love science.

A good gift to get your kid who is obsessed with Harry Potter. It will keep your kid busy for awhile so you can sit. The only downside is eventually it will be messy and eventually you won't want the castle in your house anymore.
