Lego Star Wars Imperial AT-ST set
Well, I haven't bought a lego set in probably a decade, and I am not a Star Wars nut, but I gotta say that these Star Wars theme sets are really cool. I especially like this one, sorta mecha- robo- crazy thingy. Anyway, it's cool.

The Lego Star Wars Millenium Falcon is $500 but from the looks of it, well worth it. Considering it will take me probably a lifetime to assemble it, which is most of the fun.

I didn't even know the name of the gold robot (C3P0) until I played Lego Star Wars. Now that I've upset some fans... let me say that this game is so cute and addicting. There is of course some violence: light sabers, guns, and the hilarious times when C3P0 loses an arm and a leg and must result to hopping around with his friends. I play this game at work (I work with kids) every chance I get. It's available for PS2, Xbox 360, and Wii

I would have loved Star Wars Legos as a kid, and I would have loved a Star Wars watch as a kid. I'm not a kid anymore, but these combos are pretty neat. There's a part of me who thinks... "oh for crying out loud, another thing created in the medium of Lego... what's bloody next? Lego Halo? Lego GTA?.. is there any pop culture icon that Lego wont immediately attach itself to like... There's a part of me who thinks... Then I immediately snap out of my cynical mode, and jump into my childlike geek mode and think.... Wow, I have to get one, I wonder how many legos it took, and how awesomely cool is that? This was one of those cases, after being cynical for half a second, I sat there and absorbed all the cool things about this. The death laser, the little ship on the side, the death star in all its uncompleted glory. My geek side wins again.

It took me a few weeks between work and school to finally finish putting together all 3,000+ LEGO pieces together in order to construct this monster. But it sure looks awesome in my room. I bought this for my little brother for Christmas last year and ended up fighting for playing time. Sometimes we played together. I usually suck at video games, but the controls on this are easy but engaging. I love it.
