here he is again... the philosopher of form.... inspired by looking at the light filtered through a jellyfish... he designed a larger version of this the Oven 125 this is named Oven 60 Lamp and is for smaller spaces. This light glows...plus once again it could be a suspended piece of sculpture..great.

Seems like it is impossible to find an Alvar Aalto design that doesn't work...here is a classic example of that theory....black and white painted metal, chromed stand. love the simple lines and of course the function.
