In the late afternoon, women would migrate en masse from the beach to the boardwalk, and the public restroom was a flurry of women spraying clouds of aerosol hairspray, spackling foundation, and lining eyes for the tenth time. Back then, excess was beauty and beauty was excess, especially in New Jersey. If you didn’t wear at least 4 different shades of shadow, you felt “unfinished”. Luckily, today we can be a bit more easy-going while beachside. This Light Tint Moisturizer by Juice Organics is my case in point. It has an SPF 30, so you can wear it while on the beach to protect your skin while lightly concealing blemishes and evening out your skin tone. When leaving the beach, you can reapply for a more “finished” look. Best part? Unlike applying heavier foundation, no mirror is necessary to blend this product well.
