Upper Canada Soap Belgian White Chocolate Lip Butter
What a lovely treat! I DO happen to love White Chocolate, so this was really heaven for me. The butter is part of Upper Canada’s Body Truffles collection. It’s housed in a small jar and is Shea butter based, so a small amount is all that’s needed to just melt right into the lips. The smell and flavor are really like that of fine Belgian chocolate – it’s not artificially made too “sweet”. The finish is glossy and slightly oily so if you want to wear lipstick over it, I would recommend a more matte formulation so that you can get a nice middle ground look – somewhat dewy and moist but not too shiny. I put it on every night before bed to have that smell before I drifted off to sleep and every morning before my lip color for great conditioning. This is a very well done product and is now a favorite of mine!
Makes your lips feel all tingly and look all juicy.
It's two lip treatments in one! One side exfoliates your lips with a sugar-based exfoliant, the other side moisturizes. Lipcare has never been so easy or so compact.
This is a really lovely color for fall and a great lipstick overall. The color is a nice brownish red which can be layered more heavily for a darker lip, or very lightly for a nice neutral lip stain. The color is a nice brownish red which can be layered more heavily for a darker lip, or very lightly for a nice neutral lip stain. This lipstick is heavily pigmented, so it really lasts. The texture of the lipstick is creamy, with a slightly-greasy feel which gives it some "slip" over the lips, as well as a nice amount of shine (but not super glossy!). At night I did use a gloss to give it a little more "oomph" . The container is smaller than most lipstick tubes, which I really like for carrying around, but the amount of product is the same as most lipsticks, which is great. The lipstick did not dry out my lips, but did come off a little when I ate anything with oil, which is to be expected, even from a long lasting lip product. This is exactly what I've been looking for to get away from my usual neutral beige/brown lip that I did all summer!
