Clinique Almost Lipstick
I love this stuff! So anything with the word "lipstick" in it (almost, or not) is a bit intimidating- It just seems so high maintenance. But this is really great. "Black Honey" is pretty much the epitome of a perfect shade for me. It doesn't go on as dark as it looks but it has a good amount of color to it. It goes on a lot slicker than most lip sticks too.

Because it's not just a lip stick: it's whisking a small tube from your purse, removing the gold-toned cap and applying the cream to your lips. It's a performance. In Violet Fatale, no less.

Red lips are so in this season, but my lips historically look a little gaudy with bright lipcolor. I decided to go for it, and the color was amazing, vivid, and longlasting. It does stain horribly but I think all red lipsticks do this. For easy removal and a bit of sheer pop, I apply over petroleum jelly.

This company has a lot of flattering and natural colors and the wear is pretty long. There is something cool about the cute green tube they come in too. Good makeup "staple" to have in your beauty box.

I purchased this lipstick in "Coffee Shimmer" and "Heather Shimmer" on a sort of whim while I was adding to my beauty box and the price was right. Feels great and these shades are sexy neutrals that just about anyone can wear, and they do stand the "reasonable" test of time :)

I really like most of the Pixi stuff at Target, especially this. I love lip stains, because you can have all the color of lipstick without the maintenance. It's water based, and is fragrance free. This combo kit is one of my favorites. I love the soft shimmer of the orgasm blush and the lip colors are really pretty. This is the only blush I use in spring and summer and I'm excited for this sweet kit

I love the concept of the shades/flavours being based on French delicacies, and it was no surprise that Lancome hit the nail on the... What a treat this Juicy Tube was to try - and this is coming from someone who has MANY of them! I love the concept of the shades/flavours being based on French delicacies, and it was no surprise that Lancome hit the nail on the head in particular with this shade, Cinnamon Brioche! In the tube, it looks like a deep reddish brown, but on the lips it was a luscuious, sexy shimmery bronze with deep red accents. It made my entire face light up, looked amazing with my skin tone and of course made my lips look tres sexy. :) I liked wearing it on it's own as it did have enough pigment to really give a nice color on my lips, but it was also amazing over some of my medium reddish-brown nude lipsticks as well. This is also a color that will work on all skintones, including very deep ones. Then there's the flavor - a very light and pleasant "cinnamon meets freshly baked buns", that lingered subtly thoughout the day. I just loved it. As always, I loved the light feeling and silky smooth texture of the Juicy glosses, and yes, there was a bit of stickiness to it, but it's never been a hinderance to me. Since this is a limited edition I strongly urge you to go get a few while you can!
