Which doesn't adequately explain any of our fabulous misadventures growing up. Jon Scieszka (author of "The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales") has a really good excuse: five brothers. Quite generously and with great humor, he shares much of his childhood guts and glory in this novella. Fair warning: this is the kind of material that will make you laugh out loud, involuntarily and repeatedly. Most fun I have ever had while reading this past decade.

My daughter really loved playing with these- the pen (sold separately) gives off all kinds of cool sound effects and light bursts. This is the first set in the phonics series and the pen works with all of them so you can expand as your child progresses- or you can use them without the pen if you choose. My daughter loved doing these on her own or with me.
