Congratulations to Yevgenia Kanayeva of Team Russia for becoming the gold medal winner in the all-around individual rhythmic gymnastics competition. The United States did not qualify for the XXIX Olympiad, but I hope that we will have at least one or two American rhythmic gymnasts when the Summer Games are held in London in 2012. Perhaps these streamers, available in Heart, Rainbow or Celestial designs, will ignite a passion for the sport in a little girl you know and love.

Perhaps the best part of the Opening Ceremony was the music mash-up that conveys the full range of emotion from thrill of victory to agony of defeat. And, lucky for us, some of the songs are available for individual purchase.
