Love Actually - Various Artists - Soundtrack

I know it's wrapped up like a holiday present, and this soundtrack does have just a few holiday tunes . . . but it has an amazing amount of really good music packed into a single album. From the haunting sounds of "Dido" to a Beach Boys classic, this album delivers a whole spectrum of fabulous sound.

From All Movie Guide: Hugh Grant heads up the ensemble cast of this charming romantic comedy from Richard Curtis, who took his first turn behind the camera after penning the scripts for such well-received films as Four Weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, and Bridget Jones's Diary. Love Actually criss-crosses the love lives of several characters over the course of the Christmas holiday and makes its way to DVD with a widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. For Spanish- or French-speaking viewers, there are dubbed audio tracks and optional subtitles. Fans of the film can get a glimpse into the production process and set happening with a full-length audio commentary track by Curtis, Grant, and cast members Bill Nighy and Thomas Sangster. Additionally, there are deleted scenes introduced by Curtis, a feature covering the music on the film's soundtrack, and the video for Kelly Clarkson's "The Trouble With Love Is." A full-screen version with identical features is also available.
