¡DIY! Chrysanthemum Cupcakes by Martha Stewart
These are beautiful, and would look really great for a baby or wedding shower. Plus, one of the readers said, "It took a little practice to master the technique, but after one practice batch, I perfected my mums!" I bet that means after 12 batches, I'd get it just right.
Rustic simplicity. But! whenever I use the word "rustic" I feel that also means, "could look tacky very easily, use with caution."
Simple, easy, and cute. These would be great for so many occasions: showers, birthdays, spring! I bet children would love helping. (Can't find "taffy tape"? Try airheads or use a rolling pin on normal taffy.)
Another great looking cupcake for a shower or wedding. It is cheerful and yummy. What do you think about using different jams?
This has great visual texture, while the white keeps everything simple. It might look really cool on red velvet cake.
