Manu Chao: Esperanza
There are a few CDs that make me happy when I play them. This is one of them. I am not a fan of using the word infectious to describe music, but there's nothing better. I'm not a serious music fan; I don't get snobby about music, so if you're one of those, you might think that this is somewhat cheesy. Oh well.

One of my favorite albums to listen to when I travel. Especially on am track to up state New York. I hear she had displeasure with fame and the music industry but we know we can't stop a genius, even if she or we try.

There was definitely a summer where this was the only thing I could listen too. It's filled with nothing but pick-me-up, happy-go-lucky songs that are perfect for the beach or just dreaming about being there.

I'm not afraid to say I like Jack Johnson... I mean, I like Jack Johnson. Especially this album. He's certainly falling of my radar with his newer stuff, but this one will always stroke a chord in my heart.

This song brings me such great joy. It makes me think of sunday morning with my kids before breakfast as we watch Shrek for the 13 thousandth time. Besides that, it is an all-around general good feeling song
