These split toes were originally designed for construction workers, who had to balance on scaffolding made of bamboo poles. Clever! I recommend getting the insoles for a little extra support. Don't forget to buy some tabi socks so you have toe-mittens to fit perfectly in your shoes. Made with cotton canvas uppers and rubber soles. Available in plum, green, white, and black.

The Japaneses based store that sells this tee says, "Good colors and a sprinkling of stars make the 1960s style look both modern and luxurious." I'd say it makes it look more corny and ridiculous, which is subsequently awesome.

Back to the subject at hand, it's available in two eye-catching color combinations; IP black case with black leather strap and multi colored lights or IP silver case with mottled leather strap and multi colored lights, Kyokusen is one of the most impressive and popular designs from the Tokyoflash design studio. Using cutting edge digital tube technology the display is noticeably brighter than typical LED watches and is viewable from a much wider angle. The name Kyokusen which means curved line in Japanese was inspired from the shape of the main display. Each lit segment of the curve indicates one hour and the circular array of lights represent the minutes, the outer circle showing time progression in groups of five minutes, the inner circle showing single minutes one to four. A single push of the upper button initiates a brief animation of lights before the time is displayed, pushing the lower button displays the time immediately. Very cool but i reeeeeally wish they would bring the blue LEDs back and do a more up-to-date design for the body. A boy can only hope. :-/ p&L

I seriously dig this watch. It's sleek, it has a low profile, it's "techy" enough to fit in with casual or professional wear. It doesnt have any of the hyperfunctionality that some watches have (I wont be using this to calculate... I seriously dig this watch.
