The edges are serged in black thread. The lips are embroidered. Recently several customers have asked for men's handkerchiefs that can be folded and placed in suit pockets. After a bit of research on folding men's handkerchiefs, it became apparent that the embroidery needed to be in the opposite direction from my lady's hankys. The other difference is that the lady's hankies are smaller, around 10 inches. A man's handkerchief is more like 15 or 16 inches square. So, there you have it. This handkerchief would look so cool sticking out of a business suit pocket. And if you are like me, I can never figure out something really great to give guys. This is a neat gift for any man.
