ASUS W2PB

Very cool brushed aluminum case: http://store.agearnotebooks.com/asusw2pbphotos.html Slot load cd/dvd burner (no drawer to break) kinda pricey, around 2400

  • Great screen, nice keyboard, fast processor, not plastic, great battery life, can run Windows if you need to do so, GREAT customer service. No Blu-Ray. Lets face it, you do not need it and it is buggy and a dying technology.

First, my reason for buying it was due to its light weight as my university back pack stays heavy all the time. The 10.6 wide screen still works great and has the highest brightness until today in LCD screens. There is a DVD-RW bay in this tiny laptop. Has Wifi, finger sensor, firewire, and much more. Also, the battery can operate up to 11 hours on a single charge. This is a great tool for people looking for mobility as well as moderate power. If you are one of those people, buy this laptop made straight in japan and never worry about buying another laptop again.
