I found this incredible store in Ottawa called Harnn and Thann that has all natural skincare from Thailand. I use the Thann Line - starting with the Shiso Foaming Wash followed by the shiso anti-aging facial cream. Recently I started to use the Shiso facial serum with centella and banana about twice a week. With this skincare regime my skin feels refreshed, soothed and clear. Now I keep one of these little push-up sticks in my purse and use it as a hand-cream of sorts while at work, and then I put it all over my feet before I go to bed so that I wake up with baby-soft tootsies! I love this.

Ever since I had my little guy, I'm trying to switch to more natural products. I only use natural products on him, so I figure I should switch for myself as well. Just because I want things that are more natural and safe does not mean I don't want effective. Well this wonderful product is both. It contains SPF 30 and has anti-aging ingredients! I have used and liked Dr. Denese's SPF 30 Day Cream. That product is not listed on the EWG's website so I'm not sure where it ranks. I have also used the new Aveeno tinted moisturizer and it ranks at 7 out of 10 (10 being the worst for toxic and not effective). This product is a wonderful non-toxic replacement!

My hands at the time were so dry and cracked that every other cream I tried to use to moisturize would burn my skin (cause of the alcohol content) This hemp hand protector was the only one that didn't burn. It's super thick and buttery. The only prob I found with it was that sometimes when traveling the top would unscrew and it cream would be everywhere. * They now have a full line of Hemp products including a face cream that is great in the winter too!

I saw a video on You Tube how argan oil is produced in Morocco by all-women cooperatives and it provides fair wages and help them support their families. The Kaeline products I have tried come in beautiful bottles (recyclable glass) which was a nice surprise because I usually expect products that are good for you to look functional, not nice enough to display. I think Kaeline is definitely an affordable luxury but still not well known in the US. I have to buy it online (no big deal and cheap to ship) but I hope more stores and spas will start selling it. I almost hate to brag on it because I am afraid that everybody will read this and they will sell out (-: If you are bath diva like me, you will love it!!

I have no idea why my skin needs a shielding lotion, but I do like this product. if you're like me and your skin (particularly your hands) get really chapped (listen guys, they bleed, ok? Stop laughing :) ) in the winter, this stuff is a godsend. My absolute favorite part - it dries almost instantly, with almost no greasy feel. You can get back to work or use your iPod within a minute. I don't think it moisturizes as much as the more gooey lotions, but if you use this everyday (which is easy to do) expect perfectly soft skin.
