Initially I saw this piece with colored drawers, perfect for my Mondrian inspired list, but this shelving system is available with any colored drawers, or without drawers at all (see the images) as well as in various widths.

For Cappellini's 2009 collection, Shiro Kuramata designed 2 different cabinets as an homage to Piet Mondrian. Both are based on the painter's early compositions, are made from lacquered wood and are beautiful.
