The short and modest final album by Nick Drake is a legendary folk listen. Carefully written songs, with melancholic lyrics, drakes. I'm convinced that everyone should own this album

Her songs are beautiful and her lyrics are progressively transforming. There's really not much more to say about that besides that this is an album everyone should have in their collection.

I really love this CD. I'm not a huge fan of Def Leppard's music (although I do think they are really nice guys). I'm not a huge fan of Def Leppard's music (although I do think they are really nice guys). However the one thing I have always known is especially Phil Collen and Joe Elliot's love of the 70's glam rock. This CD is all covers of songs that influenced the guys over the years. 70's British rock is well represented here. I like this CD start to finish (which is a rare thing for me. WIth that being said my fav tracks on this CD are: ~20th Century Boy ~Waterloo Sunset (one of the best songs ever written) ~Hanging on the Telephone ~Street Life (one of my favorite songs ever) ~Little Bit of Love ~Stay With Me (this is my favorite song of all time. No version will ever compare to the original by the Faces. However the boys do a really good job of it with Phil Collen on lead vocals. He does a great job). Being a fan of all of the music that influenced these guys myself I found something really interesting. Many of the songs they cover here are on the soundtrack for the amazing British tv show, Life on Mars.

Junkyard is one of those few bands! This is really one of my fav.all time CD's. These guys were from Hollywood,but I would not call them "hair metal" although sometimes they were lumped in with that genre. Think bikers meeting dive bar meet Texas barroom boogie! This CD smokes from start to finish. There was something very real and gritty about Junkyard's music. I still can't believe these guys were not huge! They should have been!! Get this CD and see why!

This is one of the best Guitar CD's I have heard in a long time. A friend turned me onto this and I love it. It seems like playing an instrument is a lost art form…but this guy can play!

These guys should have been the next big thing. I'm not sure what exactly happened. I do know they were managed by Sharon Osbourne at one point in time and were supposed to come out with a full length album, although I don't think it ever reached the light of day! if you love music in the style of Johnny Thunders, Izzy Stradlin', Hanoi Rocks, the Ramones, etc. you will adore these guys.The thing that will really knock you out once you hear how amazing they were is that the youngest member of the band at the time this was recorded was like 16. Hard to believe!

Great band from LA that were way ahead of their time. Great garage rock/soul with a horn section. Something somewhat unheard of in 1965. The entire CD is fantastic. My favorite song is Jump, Jive And Harmonize!

I played this album to bits! So, so good! A Million Miles Away, while I know the hit (and I tend to not like the hits on records) I still love that song to this day. Clearly Britain was the place to be in the 90's (well to me I would always want to be there). Anyway, this review is all about this great debut CD! They were ironic, witty, angry and sexy. Slash and Burn is my fav. song on the CD (I also adore the video....all black hair, eyeliner, leopard junkie chic).

If you are not familar with this great band (they are one if not my most favorite band on the planet) this will give you all need to see why they are so amazing! Ginger (the singer and main song writer) is such a master of the crunchy riff mixed with amazing harmony. This combination produces a truly unique sounds that you must listen to to fully understand! I finally got the see the Wildhearts live in San Francisco a few months ago. I had waiting 7 years to see them. Many times waiting so long for a band you are bound to be let down. Not so with my beloved Wildhearts. They were amazing, Ginger was amazing (and adroable) and I love them more than ever! Get this CD and be part of my world!
