OPI'S CLASSIC: DRESS TO EMPRESS
To be totally honest, I've never been a fan of red nail polish. I tend to gravitate toward more floral or bright colors. However, OPI's Dress to Empress has made a ME a fan. This color has a slight hint of gold shimmer and looks fantastic on my lil' piggies. It also keeps its lacquer finish week to week. Looks like I like red after all!

I love OPI and the colors they offer, so I flipped when I saw a gorgeous red with an awesome name in stick form. I suggest this brand, color AND packaging with just the statement that you may need a couple coats and you may need to fix chips, but the convenience and colors are worth it!

It's got a red glitter counter part called Ruby Pumps which some do an interesting manicure with- The black based Lubu Heals on top of the nails, then Ruby Pumps on the underside of the nail. In order to minimize the bumpy texture that most glitter polishes create, I did my first coat with black, rather than Lubu Heals, then did the second in Lubu Heals to finish it off. That way I wasn't layering glitter on top of glitter. Enjoy this fun novelty color!
