Chanel Blue Satin Nailpolish
I was so excited to try this new CHANEL nail color! I love experimenting with darker shades, and this was right up my ally. Just one coat of CHANEL Blue Satin gave me a metallic navy blue – which was actually very nice and I did wear the color that way on occasion. Two coats created a deep indigo with a very slight amount of shimmer, which I really loved (the shimmer isn't as noticeable on the nail as it is in the bottle). It’s a fun-yet-sophisticated and a little offbeat look. Note: Another fantastic combination is one coat of CHANEL’s Blue Satin with One coat of CHANEL Azur's (review coming soon) twinkly sky blue on top. The iridescent sparkle brings out the best in Blue Satin. The Azur color added much more shimmer for a different look and made the blue satin look more blue instead of a dark indigo/almost black shade. I received many compliments on this combination! The texture of CHANEL polishes are thicker than most, the application was amazing and the staying power is incredible. It covers almost completely in one coat. It's also unbelievably glossy, which I love. This will give a dramatic look to fair skins and will really complement darker brown skin tones for a sexy and sophisticated look

Such a cool color for summer! Funky and fun. Takes 2 thick coats or 3 thin coats to go on opaque. Dries a little bit matte, so make sure you apply a shiny top coat. Big 3 free and made in the USA.

Out of the four shades in the collection, this is one of the less “edgy” shades, but really pretty and flattering nonetheless. L.A. sunset really is reminiscent of the shades in sunset! It’s a warm, medium coral color with a touch of salmon pink (note: it appears more red in the picture). It’s bright but not neon. It’s such a happy summer color. I loved wearing this when I got a pedicure. It looked even better when I got a tan. The formula is smooth and easy to apply, and looked great with either one coat for more of a salmon stain, or with two for the brighter effect. It’s shiny with no shimmer and as I’ve found many of the CHANEL formulas, has great lasting power with no chipping. I think this is one of the most versatile colors in the collection and should be added to their permanent collection. This is perfect those women are out of their teens and 20’s that still want to be fashion forward yet still have a flattering color that will work with their clothing, lifestyle, work etc. This shade will work best up to a Queen Latifah shade. This is a slightly lighter gray than "Recycle" by China Glaze- plus, it has a slight shimmer. So pretty, and it applies in two even coats. Very pretty. Grays will be popular for Fall '08, so pick this one up now.

I love this fresh pink color because it looks amazing on my skin tone and lasts so long! It has tiny shimmery sparkles that are not too dramatic but just perfect.

It's the perfect dark shade for me - almost black, but with a touch of red to avoid looking truly Goth. Only apply yourself if you're a great nail painter, these dark shades get extremely messy!
