John Legend - Once Again
Not easy listening by any means, but quite easy to listen to, John Legend sings of love and loss and everything in between on this 14-track album. But he could sing about anything and I would still listen to him all day. He completely redefines "smooth."

I think what I like most about SUMMVS is that it is neither here nor there, each track feels whole, not too Alva Noto or Ryuichi Sakamoto. Its not overtly electronic or acoustic, it's not purely intellectual or purely melodic, the... Its not overtly electronic or acoustic, it's not purely intellectual or purely melodic, the compositions seem closer to Jazz yet not at all. SUMMVS seems to be about the right touch, the right balance of a collaboration which continues to uncover it's own unique language.
