Dinnerware based on a haiku. How cool is that? Against far off snow mountains Two crows are flying. Within this simple haiku by Murakami Kijo, one can see the inspiration behind the life and work of Ikuzi Teraki and Jeanne Bisson, the artists behind Romulus Craft. Renowned for their exquisite handcrafted porcelain pottery, Bisson and Teraki combine their lifelong association with Japanese ceramics with a powerful connection to nature. Whether thrown, slab-built or hand-formed, each piece reflects the artist and a precise attention to detail. The fragile beauty of nature is represented in this marvelous line of dinnerware, with soft colors and asymmetrical shapes melding harmoniously with the hard-edge glazed stripe that makes up the Reflection pattern.

The colors included are blue, red, yellow and a slightly darker honey mustard esc. color. The honey mustard mug has a Fred Roberts Co. sticker on the bottom. They measure 5 ¼" tall and 3" across at the top. These are great as well, and at a great price! The site also sells the faux snow and little "ice crystals" and shows you how to make your own with tacky glue. That would be a fun family project!
