Dolce & Gabbana Trimmed Jacket & Ink Jeans
Nautical is always a perfect spring style. It's just one of those (like florals) that doesn't go away from year to year, it just keeps reinventing itself. Well, to be fair, designers keep reinventing it. And D & G does a great job this year reinventing nautical. The petite stripes on the shirt are made infinitely better by the little red bow at the back, but it's the jacket (oh the jacket!) that I really adore. White, navy and red (done nautical style) possibly may dethrone pink as my favorite color combination. This white trimmed jacket has double pockets and a cut that will keep you stylish and warm in the spring.
Satin high heels with a blue stripped pattern. Has a red base heel and look very hard to walk in. BUT they are beautiful and I must have them.
Mod meets exotic with this long-sleeve mini dress by Nicole Miller. So much more forward than some of her evening wear, this dress is lovely.

When I first read the Great Gatsby I thought it was every so romantic (I was young, we are all foolish then). Upon re-read of this book I've changed my stance considerably, one thing remains though I love the whole idea of the characters in the book and I could totally see Daisy wearing a dress like this for a game of tennis, croquet or simply an afternoon tea. It's almost 20s cut dress with that glorious red bow on the back is paired with a simple linen coat. Perfect for spring, perfect for the resort, or perfect to indulge your inner Gatsby with.
