Cole Haan Nike Air Two Gore
I realize the necessity- and occasional fun- of getting dressed up. Truth be told, I generally prefer shorts and a t-shirt. But when I must wear nice clothes, one of the biggest headaches can be the shoes. Historically, my "nice shoes" have been uncomfortable, ergonomic nightmares likely to give shin splints. At least until I discovered Cole Haan licensed Nike's Air tech. The soles of their shos have Nike's air cushion in them. So finally, I have dress shoes that feel as comfortable as sneakers and look cool too. I just got a pair of the Gore loafers and I dig them, especially the cool little metal stud on the side of the shoe. These shoes are good for meeting w/partners, VC's, and the more serious-minded members of the media. Go well w/jeans and a nice shirt, maybe from Turnbull & Asser (my fav shirt maker)

Not to be out done by Ms. Pacman, Nike also created the Pacman. I like these because they are high tops and the Nike Dunk in high top is a good looking shoe. Once again the colors are based on the Pacman arcade game.

Nike really did it with this one. The colors of this shoe are based on the colors of the Ms Pacman arcade game. They look great on the low top Nike Dunk. A real head turner.

Look at these all white shoes, aren't the neat? No! They're nowhere close to neat if all they are is white shoes. But, they're not. They glow in the dark. Walk into anywhere with dimmed lights and they'll be glowing green.

However, Nike switched it up toward the rear where they incorporated a Varsity Maize Yellow patent leather rear; as well as the Swoosh. The same yellow tone makes up the sole for a step in the right direction. A White midsole sets off the black and is a surprising touch that actually works quite well with the overall look. The black contrast stitching on the Swoosh and midsole makes for a pleasing offset. My favorite part about these is the easily matchable color scheme. When the sun heats up more vibrant tones will set in, making the task of finding an accompanying outfit a very possible mission. These shoes are a very basic sneaker and I think that's why they're nice. All black, white laces, white swoosh....what more do you want? Now only if I could find those shoes with the spinners on them!
