Add a soothing call to peace to your wardrobe any day of the year with this eye-catching double tagua bracelet. Made from the ivory-like tagua nut and dyed two shades of blue, this bracelet serves as a subtle reminder that world peace starts with you! Bracelet features a cobalt slice of tagua nut atop a sky blue slice. The front is carved with a peace dove and the word for "Peace" in a delicate ring of international languages. The outside edge of the slice is left in a natural, dark shade to create a vibrant contrast in colors. Tagua is a type of palm nut that is sustainably harvested from the South American rainforest. Often referred to as vegetable ivory because of its similarities to ivory, it can be dyed a myriad of vibrant colors. Handmade in and fair-trade imported from Colombia. The Hunger Site will fund 25.0 cups of food for each Peace Dove Double Tagua Bracelet purchased.

This was an important find while on my detox. I already ate nuts and seeds and dried fruits, but this combined them in a way that changed things up... sweetened with honey! Yes, honey is allowed, but no refined sugars. And look, for those of you scared to allow this sugar... I lost a deal of weight using honey every single day! See the other recommendation for the company's website. There are 10 bars to choose from, though my local store only has 2 or 3. Gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free, preservative-free!

It appears they have 10 "kinds" of bars, but my store only has 2 or 3 (I don't know because I am only obsessed with the next recommendation!) Gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free and preservative-free ~ but the taste will knock your socks off! (A few bars are not dairy-free). The main reason it's part of my detox plan? No refined sugar! It's sweetened mainly with honey and contain only nuts, fruits and berries. *no, this isn't necessarily low in fat and calories, but it's a quality food, showing me that if we eat what we're meant to eat ~~ that provided by the earth, not a machine ~~ our bodies will reward us with good health.

I am gluten-allergic, and all Lara Bars are gluten free. The lemon bars are really awesome, but my favorites are the Ginger Snap and the Coconut. Lara Bars are not made with high fructose anything, and nothing you can't pronounce. The ingredients are things like dates, figs, coconut, cocoa, ginger, cherries, bananas -- you get the picture. They are all chewy, sweet and satisfying!

Selenium is found in many foods, but it can be hard to know if you're getting the recommended 55 mcg a day because amounts vary based on the soil in which food is grown and the feed livestock consume. To meet your requirement, try a supplement or eat a varied diet and opt for foods grown in different areas such as nuts from California. Add walnuts to your diet by throwing them onto a salad.
