Scanglobe - Simplicity Globe

Scanglobe - Simplicity Globe

A cool, modern take on the classic globe. I love the matte metallic base and the transparency of the globe itself, allowing you to see where everything in the world lies in relation to each other. Very pretty and functional at the same time. It's useful to have one of these when you hear of some country and nod your head sagely, but really have no idea where the heck it is. By looking through this globe, you can guess where to start digging if you want to end up in China. It would make an nice entrance for the '08 Olympics.

  • Woah. Now that's a cool globe. Enough said.

Lamps suspended by black fabric wire. Accessible from all sides. Kind and forthcoming. An airy bubble which will give the light optimum working conditions and let it show to its best advantage in the room. The light discs above and below the shielded buble and the turnable plates in the ball enables variation and adaptation of the light to suit the room. And they show Verner Panton's great feeling for technical aspects, materials and possibilities - and for light. Use the pendants as beautiful, lighting welcome in hall or entrance hall. Above a work table. A conference table. A dinner table. In brief: wherever people meet around the light and the round light ball. Each piece carries an individual number stamped into the stem of the lamp. Each piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity with the corresponding number.
