Celine | F 07 Ready-to-Wear Collection

Although it would appear that the fashion masses are giving Ivana Omazic flack regarding her Fall 07 creations for Celine, I think she's done a classy, fabulous job. Sure, her designs are understated, but for me, that's what makes them so appealing. The collection was heavy in both ankle and knee-high boots, skinny belts, and modified trench coats -- and I was in fashion Heaven. And while I'm neutral on the full-coverage newsboy cap, j'adore the dainty driving gloves. How perfect for a weekend in the French countryside.

The massive, enamel creation of a necklace looks super amazing here with this bathing suit and will look just as great with an LBD, or t shirt! I wish I could see what shoes are paired with this look because I just love how it all goes together! Tough girl chic leather jacket paired with white, button detail gloves is very KL.

Karl Lagerfeld put a fun twist on the forever classic Chanel bag by turning it on it's side and giving it a new way to be carried. Since this is from the runway, I wonder if this will hit shelves or if it was made just for runway? Either way, it is definitely an interesting way to carry a Chanel bag!

There are few things I love more than silky, subtle pieces of fabric, classic clothing construction, and lady-like luxury. It makes perfect sense, therefore, that I should love Lanvin's Fall 07 ready-to-wear collection. Composed of sheaths in not-so-basic-black, with electric pops of magenta purple and cherry red, head designer Alber Elbaz channeled Jeanne Lanvin's original minimalist attitude for a look of complete luxury and quality. The polished look of Lanvin for Fall 07 is definitely showy, but not ridiculously outrageous and unwearable -- as many designer frocks tend to be.
