"Dallas" palette by Benefit

Color me Dallas! In the name of all that is Ewing, I swear that I'm not just picking this because it makes me feel all Victoria Principal. It's handy and who wouldn't want to whip out a "Dallas"-adorned ANYTHING in public. I only wish it had a pressed powder so I could make a joke about it being able to absorb the Texas oil slick that appears after a long day of staring at my computer. Well, that's sort of gross, so maybe I don't.

This item can only be found on SUGARRAINDROPS.COM not etsy. :] The birdcage is made of pewter and has an adorable little bird resting on a perch inside that swings freely about. The door opens and shuts, by sliding up and down. The pearls are crystals in a soft peachy pink tone. I've wire wrapped two to accent the bird cage charm. This beautiful necklace has a lobster clasp, with a little pewter sparrow charm. The entire necklace measures 18" long.

Jaqua is a little French brand that is licensed by Bath and Body Works and sold in their online store and some of their bigger storefronts (mostly flagship stores). The brand is simple and elegant, with a small array of very nice smelling products. The Peach Parfait is incredible, with just enough "peachiness" to be noticed without smelling like a lollipop. It's a great exfoliator, too, without being too harsh. Excellent product!!

Okay, so I've seriously used this since like the fifth grade. I've tried dozens of other more expensive beauty routines *coughProActivCliniqueArbonnecough* and none of them work as well as this classic scrub. Every morning it perks up my skin and keeps the zits at bay. I've also been told that I have nice skin, and to which I reply, Thanks. No way I'm giving this little secret away...

I own a few pieces (okay 4 dresses, 2 skirts, 3 shirts and a jacket) and can't wait to buy more. I receive compliments every time I wear any of it. The shop is owned and staffed by women - they design the clothing and the prints, they silk-screen the fabric and sew up the dresses right there. AND, they'll even teach you how to do it yourself! They will even tailor dresses off the rack to fit you. They are all so nice and helpful and pretty. Sigh, I can't wait to go back.
