Motorola Razr Cell Phone
It is small enough not to annoy me when it is in my pocket and has bluetooth. If you have a mac buy bluephone elite. It is cool to see peoples faces pop up on the laptop when the phone is ringing in my pocket.

One more serious good smarphone after iPhone, the first real try of Motorola. Touchscreen plus mechanical keyboard plus impressive hi-res screen plus of course the Android OS. Nice.

I don't like phones that flip...they break. And considering how often I drop my phone, I need a sturdy phone. The Motorola SLVR is such a phone. It's skinny, without being too thin to fit in my hand and have a nice sized displa... I don't like phones that flip...they break. And considering how often I drop my phone, I need a sturdy phone. The only thing I'm not crazy about would be the camera...it takes fine pictures for being in a phone, but not great pictures for sharing. That's fine though, I carry a camera in my purse.

Compared to my beloved treo 650, it trades the 650's touch screen for wifi. I'm convinced that any navigation that involves the treo's touch screen is about five times slower than using the ubiquitous rocker button interface, so that doesn't seem like much of a loss. And the wifi is a huge gain! It's much smaller than the treo. The screen is lower resolution, but the quality seemed on par with the treo 650. Of course it does run Windows Mobile rather than PalmOS. The main reasons I'm afraid of Windows Mobile are: I would have to re-purchase all the apps I already own on PalmOS; I'd have to migrate all my calendar, contact, etc data from the treo; I don't know how well Windows Mobile syncs with linux. I haven't heard great things about Windows Mobile in general, but then PalmOS is nothing to write home about either. It's benefited from nothing but the most cosmetic updates over the past 10 years. They seem to be in the same position Apple was in 2000. If they can successfully make the leap to Access Linux Platform (analogous to Apple's OSX), they might stay ahead of Microsoft. But it looks to me like Palm is currently focusing on new hardware rather than overhauling their aging OS.
