It was spring and warm and one of the women there was more stylish than I had been in a while (it was a pretty conservative office), she wore a coat I'll never forget and a coat that I've been trying to duplicate since. This military coat with brass buttons comes pretty close to the style of coat she was in while still fitting into my slightly more conservative style.

And when you are bundling up with scarves and hats and losing your shape with bulky fabric, the more feminine a coat makes you feel, the better.

So, I've been watching Grey's Anatomy recently (my one television indulgence) and if Ava wore sweater like this "Ava" sweater, I think I'd like her a lot more. I'd be distracted by the grey color, the rounded neck, the slight puf... So, I've been watching Grey's Anatomy recently (my one television indulgence) and if Ava wore sweater like this "Ava" sweater, I think I'd like her a lot more. I'd be distracted by the grey color, the rounded neck, the slight puffy sleeves and most of all the giant black buttons to think of anything bad to say about her.
