For those of you who know me, I love love love pistachio ice cream. Thrifty's is the bomb! I usually don't like pistachio ice cream with whole nuts in it but this one is an exception. Every scoop brings you back to the good ol' days when you used to take a walk down to the nearest Thrifty's (now, unfortunately named with a less catchier business name, Rite-Aid) with just a few coins in your pocket but still enough to get you like 6 scoops of ice cream. Survey says?... Lickable :)

I've been on a hunt for pistachio ice cream since I realized it was my favorite flavor during my college late night munchie days. After trying dozens of types/brands of ice creams and their pistachio flavors, Haayen Dazs' falls under my top two. I really like that it's not green like most pistachio ice creams. And I also really like that there's small pistachio bits in every bite. Be careful! It's so good, I've often found myself finishing the pint in one sitting.
