"The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust" by Saul Williams and Trent Reznor rule my iPod playlist. Songs like Convict Colony and List of Demands will get me more amped-up than any Talib Kweli revolution. And although... "The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust" by Saul Williams and Trent Reznor rule my iPod playlist. Songs like Convict Colony and List of Demands will get me more amped-up than any Talib Kweli revolution. And although Erykah Badu's latest album was good, it didn't feel as complete and original as Mr. William's album. Two covers - the "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and the "Can't Hide Love" cover are weird. Never have I heard such a mutated version of Earth, Wind, & Fire's song. "World on Wheels" will make you shake your booty as if you were listening to CSS or Bonde Do Role. This is an essential hip hop album, just as I thought for sure that hip hop was dead. Outside of MF Doom or Madlib, I haven't bought a good hip hop album in ages.
