Estelle is an amazing artist out of the UK. She's fresh and different and I love her sound. "American Boy" should definitely get more attention than her first single.

One of my favorite albums to listen to when I travel. Especially on am track to up state New York. I hear she had displeasure with fame and the music industry but we know we can't stop a genius, even if she or we try.

Song: Shut up and Drive Episode: The Wild Brunch I had heard this song on the radio once or twice before this episode - but seeing it on Gossip Girl pushed me to actually buy it - and I've never regretted it.

She may be no good, but this album is great. Divorced from the drama surrounding her, she made a damn good album, one of the year's best. Talk about a tun from her previous album, Frank. It's hard, because obviously this amazing album was born from the pain that lead her to her drug problem, but should also act as a reminder that there's a damn good reason people care what happens to her. Hopefully she can clean up and make a great comeback record.

Original released in 2003, the CD still bangs today. When I first heard Anthony's voice, it reminded me of an old soul singer from the 60s.
