Natural Lavender-Scented Vintage Glass Candle
This small online boutique is called Kraptacular Krafts. The owner takes things she finds (at rummage sales, thrift stores, neighbor's basement, etc.) that other people have decided is "crap" and turns them into something beautiful. This particular item is a lavender candle in a vintage glass picked up at a rummage sale. I love the idea of reusing things that other people no longer want. In the "reduce, reuse, recycle" mantra, reusing something is even better, energy-wise, than recycling.

And, they're "they're microwavable, freezer safe, oil resistant, and capable of handling hot or cold foods and beverages." They're super sturdy, strong, and can be 100% recycled to make paper. Make sure to set up recycle bins at your camp. One each for glass, aluminum, paper, and plastic. When you leave Burningman, there are recycling companies that take your sorted recyclables off of your hands. (If they're not sorted, they go in the trash, so be sure to sort!) Then, use these plates and dinnerware, rinse as well as u can, and place in the paper recycle bin. Voila!
