However, most sports/water bottles are missing one key thing - insulation. You put in your ice cold water/tea/coffee/juice in the morning, and after an hour or 2 in the sun, it's warm. Blech! The ThinkSport .75L bottle solves this little dilemma. It is one of the only insulated/thermos bottles designed for COLD beverages currently on the market. While you'll find plenty of thermoses for coffee, most top out at around 16 ounces. This thinksport can hold 25, and keep it cold throughout the day. There are some other pretty cool features as well. The top cap is held to the bottle with a sturdy plastic lanyard, and unscrews to reveal a nicely sized drinking spout. If you unscrew the cap underneath that, you'll access a wide-mouth opening - making it easy to insert regular-sized ice cubes into your beverage. Sitting in the wide-mouth opening is (and this is a really neat feature) a little, removable mesh filter. With the filter in place, ice cubes, tea leaves, insoluble sugar cubes, or even drink cooling rocks are kept in their place - leaving you to drink in their goodness without them actually ending up in your mouth. Also, while this isn't officially listed, the bottle seems to float! Yup! Mine floats in water. Nice feature for a sports bottle. Lastly, it's been extensively tested for all those nasties the news likes to scare us with - BPA, Phtalates, Lead or Cadmium. The perfect summer trip companion. Around $20 for the .75 L, $15 for the .35 L.

The proprietary SIGG bottle lining is a water-based, non-toxic coating that is baked into the interior walls and remains flexible and crack resistant for the life of the bottle. Due to the finish of the liner, there is much less chance for bacteria build-up with a SIGG as opposed to plastic containers. The liner is taste-neutral and resistant to fruit acids and energy drinks, ensuring that your drinks taste like your drinks every time. SIGG bottles exceed FDA requirements and have been independently tested to prove 0.0% leaching. Environmentally speaking, SIGG bottles get an A+. Not only are they designed to be reusable, they are 100% recyclable at the end of their very long lives.
