Fuzzy Logic Rice Cooker
I had a Japanese roommate once. He liked to make fun of me for making what he called "white girl rice". He was right though, up until I met him I made my rice in a pan with chicken broth. Living with him I realized how nice a rice cooker was. And if this rice cooker is the white girl rice cooker (it can also do slow cooking and steaming!), well...that's okay with me.

Be sure no one uses metal utensils on the inside liner because it scratches easily.

It's so sunshiny! That buttercup yellow is so happy and friendly I can't help but want to integrate it into my kitchen. It's small, it can steam and it can cook rice all while looking cute.

I like the look of this shiny black rice cooker. Plus it looks like it can cook rice and steam at the same time, which means dinner is a breeze and healthy. And with summer here, healthy is good.

I went home this weekend to celebrate my dad's birthday. while there I was reminded of the fact that when I'm home I do most of the cooking and that I'm cooking for more people than I normally do. A 10 cup rice cooker like this ... I love rice, but I'm not cooking for a family, so those 10 cup rice makers (or even 6 cup rice makers) leave me with far too much rice! A four cup rice cooker leaves me with just the amount of rice I need for the night, plus some... I love rice, but I'm not cooking for a family, so those 10 cup rice makers (or even 6 cup rice makers) leave me with far too much rice! A four cup rice cooker leaves me with just the amount of rice I need for the night, plus some to use for fried rice later in the week when it's had a chance to dry out a bit. Fantastic!

Settings for all types of rice(sushi, white, brown, GABA brown, mixed), and even porridge. Warms up to 99 hours. It even plays little tunes (or not if you don't want it to) when it starts and finishes.

In addition to making rice this rice cooker also lets you steam things (vegetables, meat and dumplings! I love dumplings!).
