THE PEOPLE OF THE LABYRINTHS A MAZE Perfume
This time out The People of the Labyrniths created a fragrance that has a heavy rose base, but I would not consider this a “floral” in the traditional sense. The heaviest and first notes on me are the 2 type of roses and the orange blossom. They dry down quickly to reveal a very unique second layer which is a saffron and henna. It’s a light fragrance that is also long lasting. I’ve never smelled anything quite like it. After a few hours the fragrance changes yet again to a very comforting and sweet note from the sandalwood and musk. By bedtime it lingered on, and a soft, almost almond-like fragrance remained on my skin. The People of the Labyrinths (TPOL) have taken more than 5 years to develop this new fragrance and it shows. For the fragrance lover who wants to conquer new and different smells, as well as those who do love a rose-based fragrance – with a twist, this is a definite must have! As always, the packaging is unique and luxurious as only TPOL can achieve. The box itself is beautiful lilac velvet and the bottle is a heavy scientific-beaker like bottle which is encased in a lovely silk purple scarf with gold lettering spelling out the name of the perfume. Bravo!
Smells better than fresh-cut roses. $105.00
I like Paul Smith, especially the signature strips and all othe stuff. However...never the prefume.....this is the first one. Obviously , the scent smell like rose but it doesn't feel like the other. Rose smells similar but it is more sheer and sophisticated .
