It's a unique piece that has two artists with very different backgrounds that can collaborate on something wonderful. Only 35 prints left and two and a half weeks before we're all out!

Mike Budai has some pretty solid character design, but that is not the aspect of his work that makes him incredible. The fact that he is able to hand-pull screenprints that are so clean, so solid, with such tight registration that they can easily be mistaken for digital prints? THAT is what makes him incredible. Mike makes the rounds on the Flatstock/Gigposter circuit where he is spoken of with awe. Few artists have the wherewithal to tackle a print that requires 23 individual screens, each with perfect registration. Fewer still could do it, even if they wanted to. This print is a stellar example Mike's work. His color selection, character design, and incredibly clean print technique make this an absolute steal for the price. Affordable, accessible, and wonderful. Mike Budai is a true gem.

Brian Morris is one of those rare illustrators who has found a clear and definitive voice in what can easily become a cliche subject: skulls. His work, featured often in the revered lowbrow magazine "I Want Your Skull", is both unsettling and delicate. His line work is the envy of many an up-an-coming artist, and his sense of composition is clear and unwavering. This piece is ink and acrylic on wood, and his use of the natural grain as highlights for the hair really set this apart from his rare forays into color as well as his more typical black-and-white drawings on paper. The choice to use a visibly organic substrate is a good one for him, and while his work on paper is stunning his work on wood feels more (dare I say it?) natural. Another talent you would do well to keep an eye on, Brian resides in Chicago.
