The last time I made a spice cake I threw in caradmon, nutmeg, ginger and saffron. It was amazing. And here is this fragrance jar (which I call a candle). I can already smell it filling up the house.

If I were to add one or two splashes of color to accent the gray it would be saffron or orange. Then there is navy. Navy complements all of the above and looks like it belongs with anything gray. I can’t think of a single I would add to the gray, orange, saffron, navy mix. Nope, not one.

I love these two vodkas. Both are 90 proof. The first distillate is a Tarragon infused vodka. Delightfully herbal, made with fresh grown tarragon leaves and a hint of mint. As complex as a gin with 8 spices, with flavors of toasted cumin on the nose and lemony sweet coriander on the mid-palate. Goes well with a splash of Cointreau and a squeeze of lime.
