This is a great sake for those who are used to wine tasting as it tastes...a little like wine. It has a complicated, slightly rustic taste and a beautiful finish, not common with a resaonably priced sake.

This is one of the best nigori (unfiltered rice) sakes on the market. I had it once here in Santa Cruz and have never been able to find it. I have to say its great having a cup of coffee from a mug that not only looks cool, but I know that there isn't another one exactly like it! Kind of like me... unique but definitely cool! This set is awesome. I use it for sake when my friends come over! Personally, I like the warm sake so I put the sake in the bottle and then heat the bottle up in a pan of water on the stove. Since I have an espresso machine, I also use it to serve espresso after I've made one of my bomb dinners!

This is a nice, clean-lined, minimal, simple set. My only issue with it is that it would be better for heated sake as there is no ice set-up to keep the sake chilled. However, Takara's Hana sake, flavored with Fuji Apple is one of the smoothest, nicest sakes that I have ever enjoyed. I am not a sake connoisseur, so please do not assume that I am a wine expert, but if you want a sweet, mild, and smooth sake with a nice apple flavor, this is the wine for you!
