My favorite every day, table sake.
This sake has quite a bit of body and character. It's not very acidic. The expert at K&L says "pair with salty foods" but I haven't tried that yet....
I love sake and its nuances, versatility and the artistry that goes into making it, not to mention the infusion of Japanese culture in this great drink! I only drink it cold: the purists’ way!
This is your standard sushi bar-type sake. If you drink sake warm, you can go with the cheaper stuff. Heating it hides the impurities in the flavor.
These are the wooden lacquered sake cups you often see in Japanese restaurants.
