Nars Lipcolor in First Bite
Every year or so I find a lipstick color that I just LOVE. There is always something slightly different about the actual color, the texture, lasting power, the finish, the flavor and/or…the tube. I now have mine for this year – First Bite from NARS! This color is a very warm, deep peach/red with very fine gold shimmer. It’s so warm, deep, rich, and velvety going on my lips. This color actually brings to mind the color of fresh-baked, warm, brown sugar apples ... complete with shiny, shimmery, hot caramel-red glaze. For a night sexy nude lip I would add just a touch of lipgloss on top to make it extra-glossy, and I think it looks so perfect for autumn and winter, but really year round! This will make a great “your lips but better look” up to about an Aisha Tyler complexion.
