I've had a recent compulsion to learn how to identify trees. It grew out of a disappointment that I live on a block with trees, I see them every day and have no idea what the are. I've got pine tree down, but that's it. Oh, and palm tree...easy. Plus, as an artist, when I go to get work framed I'm completely ignorant of which wood to use. Each block is made of a different wood and on each block is a picture and the name of the type of tree it came from.... in English, French AND German! Brilliant!
