Glenmorangie Scotch Sherry Wood 12 Year
We love our scotch here at Noise 13. And this one from Glenmorangie is a new favorite. We tried it at our holiday party and are hookd on the amazing aroma of Sherry wood.

This was recommended to me last night by the proprietor of Ben Nevis Whisky Bar, here in Glasgow. Probably the most complex, smoky, powerfully rich scotch I've ever tasted. And not super-expensive.

This one is robustly full bodied, well-balanced and smooth with a slight sweetness on the palate. Mmm. Should be enjoyed neat.

sweet, almost bourbon-sweet, as i recall. delicious sherry flavors and amazing complexity. unfortunately, most of the memories around the rest of the night are rather blurry. pretty expensive, too.
