Since its founding by Paolo Venini in 1921, Venini has been synonymous with original glass ornaments and accessories. Company artisans like Monica Guggisberg and Carlo Scarpa produce handmade vases, bottles, glass sculptures and light fixtures. In the US, Venini’s wares are available through its own showroom and 30 stores.

As an artist I love it when function follows form. In this case I'm exaggerating a bit. But still I can't help but smile when faceless utilitarian products are re-imagned with a heavy emphasis on style

I observe what the peice wants to be, and then I do my best to support its inclination. I string the works with embroidery thread in multiple passes to strengthen the piece and affect the shape.
