I ran out of this for a while and had to switch to Herbal Essence because it's what I had on hand, and it damaged my scalp making it dry, itchy AND greasy (sidenote: I do like Herbal Essence conditioners though, they make my curls so bouncy).

Winter is the perfect time to restore and protect your hair. I don't know about you but my hair behaves better in the winter. All that humidity is gone! So when I use this, not only is my hair super shiny but it FEELS better.

I found that it was very effective not just use it as a treatment, but I used a little in the AM to tame my frizzy curls as well... I also usually put extra on my hair for about a day before washing it too. it really makes my hair shiny and healthy. I highly recommend this. For heavy duty conditioning, I would put it in my hair at night, wash in the morning, then i even add a few drops before letting my hair air dry. In Shalini Verhda?s Global Goddess book she writes about how from India have used Coconut and Alma Oil forever to give them beautiful shiny and healthy hair. This product makes my hair look glossy and healthy and it is so nice to know it is natural. You can use this several ways. You can rub it into your hair 30 minutes before washing it like a hot oil treatment, or for a few minutes while in the shower, or leave it in overnight and wash in the morning - depending on the degree of repair you want. This is great for dry and dull hair.. worth every penny as my hair felt completely transformed! Note: I also found that you can rub this oil into your elbows after you rub it into your hair to soften your skin. That way you don't waste any of the product.. Truly the best oil hair treatment I have ever tried!

It blends Tunu, crambe seed oil, and Swa oil extract to help smooth and add a soft, flexible bounce to unruly, coarse, or curly hair without chemical action. For those of you who are looking for hair care that smoothes without silicone, this is perfect. Because it is silicone free, I found that there was absolutely no build up that occurred while testing the product the cleanser/conditioner. First, I shook up the cleanser first as per the directions and then applied. The texture of the cleanser is very thin (and is a LOW sudsing product) but is quite concentrated, so I found that just a Silver Dollar's worth was enough for my shoulder length and med/thick hair. I applied and then as per the directions left it in for a few minutes and then rinsed. Next up was the conditioner. The conditioner is also very lightweight and has a thin texture closer to a lotion than a typical conditioner creamy consistency. The conditioner sank in quickly and felt light to the touch. I left it on for about 3 minutes. After rinsing, I simply patted my hair with a towel and ran a large tooth comb through the ends. I let my hair air dry and was really happy to see that when it fully dried, my waves/curls were super soft, defined and felt light but very hydrated. My hair was completely smooth all day with NO frizz. The keys to using this the conditioner are: 1. Do NOT over apply it. 2. Preferably let your hair air dry. 3. Not take any tangles that might appear upon rinsing as an indication that the product has left gummy patches in your hair. Once hair is dry your curls will be defined and there will not by any hair "stuck together". After using this treatment of cleanser and conditioner several times a week I was really happy with the way my hair was super soft and shiny, my curls/waves were nicely defined and, yes, bouncy!

This conditioner definitely does the job. It is the perfect consistancy, and rinses out perfectly without leaving disgusting residue. I only wish there was more in the bottle!
